Administrative law

Administrative law encompasses a vast array of decision-making over a wide range of subject matter. These decisions - whether from boards, tribunals, commissions, agencies, or ministerial discretion - are subject to judicial review.

Ryan has unique experience in administrative law. He has appeared as counsel before tribunals. He has also served as an adjudicator on administrative tribunals, including the Mental Health Review Board and the Health Professions Review Board in British Columbia. He was recently appointed to the roster for the Board of Inquiry of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission.

Whether your concern relates to professional or academic discipline, a coroner inquest or police accountability, send Ryan a message.
